Rockets Pull 2 Points in Caribou

February 13, 2019

Okanagan Rockets Sunday play, continues to inhibit the teams ability to move up in the standings. After a strong defensive showing on Saturday Afternoon in Prince George the Rockets fail to bring their A game to the table on Sunday morning. "It was a big opportunity for us to move up the standings", says Coach Ferguson."We were mentally ready on Saturday but didn't bring that same level of commitment to Sunday".

Rockets finish the season on the road playing in Trail vs the Ice this weekend followed by the Hawks in Vancouver and the Royals in Victoria. "We have told the boys that we need to take care of our games and unfortunately we have had one to many Sunday games slip away at this point to make a run at top spot. At this point we will end up in the standing were we will end up as we can't worry about what other teams our doing. If we take care of our games, and have habits that are consistent with what it will take to be successful in playoffs then thats all that matters" says Ferguson.

Okanagan Rockets Playoffs will start March 16th and 17th and will be determined by what happens in the next 4 weekends of league play.
