October 10, 2015

Okanagan Rocket alumni is making news today as Hockey Canada announced the invitees for the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge with former Rocket and current Kamloops Blazer defensemen Nolan Kneen on that list.

Kneen, 16, spent last season with the Rockets, collecting four goals and ten points in 32 games and was an often looked upon source for the Rockets all season long. Kneen will join other Rockets alumni such as Tyson Jost, Jake Kryski and Justin Hickman to represent Canada at the World U17 Challenge. The tournament gets underway on November 1st and runs to the 7th with games being played in both Fort St. John and Dawson Creek. The gold medal game will take place on Saturday, November 7th from the Encana Events Centre in Dawson Creek at 6:30 pm PST.
