Rockets Alumni Clean Up Vernon Vipers Awards

T.J. Dumonceaux, a former Okanagan Rocket has been named the Vernon Vipers' team MVP for the 2014-15 BCHL season.

In 50 games this season, the 20-year-old Dumonceaux scored 27 goals and added 14 assists.

He also tops the Vipers in power play goals with 13.

Dumonceaux is completing his third full season with Vernon. He is committed to Bentley University in Massachusetts for the 2015-16 season.

Another Okanagan Rockets product, Liam Finlay, was chosen as the Vipers rookie of the year.

In 54 games, the 18-year-old had a team best 63 points on 20 goals and 43 assists.

A third player with Rockets ties, Mitchell Oliver, was named the Vipers' scholastic player of the year.

A 17-year-old defenceman, had a goal and six assists in 45 games this season.

The Vipers finished in second place this season in the BCHL's Interior Division.
