September 6, 2014
OHA Prep held on for a 5-4 win over the Okanagan Rockets in the Annual Ice Breaker event.
The contest had a play-off like feel as two high end programs put on a display in the back and forth affair.
The Rockets erased deficits of 1-0, 3-1, and 4-2 before finally allowing the winner off the stick the Kelowna Rockets 1st round pick Jonathan Smart on the power play with 8:51 left in the 3rd.
Scoring for the Rockets were Levi Johnson, Nathan Iannone, Lucas Cullen, and Mark Krabben in his return to line-up after his stint with the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL.
Aris Anagnostopoulos allowed 4 goals on 11 shots, while Jordan Reynolds stopped 15 of 16 shots during his half of the game.
The Rockets will wrap up the Ice Breaker tomorrow morning at 10:15 am vs. the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy.
