Josh Ellis and Cortlan Procter became National Champions on Sunday night in Vernon when an OT goal from Derek Falloon gave the Terriers a dramatic, come from behind 4-3 win.
Ellis captained the Rockets from 2010-2012, notching 60 points in 74 career games. In two seasons with Yorkton, Ellis has now claimed a pair of SJHL championships along with his national crown.
Procter played two season as well with the Rockets from 2011-2013. Procter posted 49 points in 78 regular season games. He may have saved his best work for the 2013 post season when he recorded 9 points in 8 games helping the Rockets to within a single victory of the BCMML crown.
Congratulations to both players on a tremendous accomplishment!
